Warner Bros. has announced that the third game in the F.E.A.R. saga is in production and planned for release this fall. Unlike the first two games, F.E.A.R. 3 will not be developed by Monolith Productions, but by Day 1 Studios, who ported the original F.E.A.R. to the Xbox 360 and PS3. The new game is being developed for those two consoles and for Windows.

"Day One is the studio behind MechAssault, MechAssault 2, and Fracture, so they've got all the mech and shooter experience one could hope for, but what about horror? Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive has that covered as well, with famed horror director John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing) and 30 Days of Night writer Steve Niles acting as consultants to enhance the game's scary bits. Alma returns for the third game, but her sons, Point Man and Paxton Fettel, are the stars, both featuring unique powers to help create what the developer is calling divergent co-op, where the characters' powers affect each player's game, and not just their own."

The official Strike Witches shooting game planned for the Xbox 360, Strike Witches – Shirogane no Tsubasa (Silver Wings), has finally been detailed, with plenty of 3D pantsu well in evidence.

There is something oddly mystifying about treasure hunting. To go out into the wilderness, slay some baddies, and loot a treasure chest with glee. Borderlands, by 2k Games, tries to emphasize just that. You are greeted to the world of the Borderlands by arriving to the planet of Pandora, which is basically a desert hell-hole full of psychopaths and monsters, but having plenty of treasure and a mysterious ancient alien Vault that must be looted. Honestly, what more do you need?

The beginning of the game is my main praising over anything else. You start off by choosing any one of a group of 4 linear characters; the Sniper, the Medic, the Tank, and the Girl. Yes there, must always be a girl, but I love this, it makes the game easy to understand unlike the pain-in-the-arse system that Fallout 3 gave me. In which I spawned into the middle of desert (ironically, just like this game) and was promptly murdered by an enemy some 10 times my own level because the game decided it would be so much more fun not to show me a clear objective. But, Borderlands; you start

Resident Evil Four was leaked in Japan, within the app store for the iPhone before Capcom could pull it without explanation.

The above video shows how the interface works and how the graphics are different from previous versions on various other systems.

Personally I'm just not sure how this would play out on the iphone, the controls look like they're a little complex! lol.

In 2007 SystemSoft developed a military strategy game Moe Moe Niji Taisen to capitalize on the massive popularity of the moe girl archetype. (Overly Cute adorable female characters designed to trigger feelings of intense protection and affection for those that fall for them.)

The newest version of the game will be done by the same team known for the underrated (Criminally so) Dai Senryaku strategy game. It is being developed for the Xbox 360 and will be known as Moe Moe Niji Taisen Deluxe Plus and will feature characters from the various warring Axis/Allies factions in America, Russia, Great Britain, Japan, Italy and Germany.

Of course the more disturbing part is that the characters will be personfied as cute tanks and military weapons. Then again all depends on the person...

After a brief hiatus the FUNimation Entertainment video portal has returned. Included in this return is the newest episode of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Available today (June 25) are episodes 10 and 11 and the debut of episode 12.

There are quite a few new back-end features that might make users pleased, which of course includes great bandwidth. As they continued to develop and implement their new features and functionality they would like users to post any issues on their forums.

Anime Next 2009 Cosplay Gallery

You need to upgrade your Flash Player

Anime Next is one of the 10 largest anime cons in the USA, with just under 10,000 people in attendance. Its a New Jersey convention, that takes place in early to mid June. Having been the primary NY area convention for a few years, ANext is getting some competition from the NY Anime Festival for the last two years. Fortunately the two cons are spaced far enough apart that it is fairly easy to attend the both of them.

What a way this would be to start the day. I know I'd have more incentive to be up if I could expect a persocon-type robot making my morning beverage.

Hina is a popular, programmable Japanese robot, and the video of her brewing coffee is pretty amazing. It is staged though, but not stop motion. The little robot has enough articulation to perform the tasks at hand via a program. Now all it needs is the AI to do it without help. But I have seen the future, and I want it now!

Here's an underrated game that anyone 17+ will be able to pick up.

Did you like Streets of Rage?
How about Resident Evil?
Ok, and how about Ninja Gaiden?

So you like swords, zombies... and beating through hordes of enemies.

If you haven’t played Street Fighter IV yet, you have probably been living under a rock, with no kind of contact with the outside world, or you just don’t really care for fighting games.
However, no matter what your excuse is, you are reading this article now, so you need to click this link, watch the video, and then come back. Don’t worry, I’ll wait. Go ahead.

Anime and Manga themes and video games go hand in hand these days, and they have for the last two decades of the video gaming industry boom. That comes as no surprise seeing as how many of our games come from Japan, just like Anime and Manga do. So what does that mean for the current next generation of gaming? It means things like this...

The newest incarnation of Nintendo’s handheld, the DS launches on April 5th. This will be called the DSi and the system will have overhauled features. Two cameras are on this puppy—one on the back of the panel with the top screen, and the second pointing towards the user on the inside of the hinge. The GBA slot has been replaced with an SD card slot, making the device open to many other types of media and applications. It will play movie and certain music files as well (but not mp3 files), which can also be stored on the card. The DSi also boasts an Internet browser, presumably Opera, just like the Wii. I can only imagine that it will be easier to use, and less of a pain to navigate than the PSP’s browser, especially when it comes to field entry since we’ll have the touch screen to use like a thumb pad, or with the stylus pen if you prefer.

The DSi will be able to connect to the Wii Shop Channel / DSi Shop, which will allow people to download games directly to the machine, or the SD cards inside of it.
