Asobi ni Iku Yo to hit big screen in Japan this summer
Posted by Daenerys in Anime / Manga April 07, 2010 at 12:29:12 AM

Asobi ni Iku Yo, a light novel that was originally written by Okina Kamino and was serialized in monthly magazine 'Comic Alive!', will be hitting the screens in Japan starting this summer, and we've got some sneak previews of the characters that will be appearing in this love-comedy anime!

It's aliens, outer space, nekomimi and tails galore - set in Okinawa, the story revolves around a boy and a girl who identifies herself as being an alien from outer space! One day, during a memorial service held by family members of Kio, a girl appears. She calls herself Eris and tells everyone that she is actually an alien...an alien with nekomimi and tail ^_^

Eris becomes the target of alien fanatics and the government, and the twist is that when she is finally captured, the captor is none other than Kio's childhood friend, Manami. And who else will run to Eris' rescue but Kio himself! A sweet, cute love story of the first contact between a human boy and an alien from outer space.

gaga note: Sorry! I couldn't find any good pictures of the original light novel.
