A second season of the moe-riffic anime K-On! has been announced after their "Let's Go!" live concert which took place in Yokohama on Wednesday.

The new animation is based on kakiffy's original manga and will be included in the seventh volume of the Blu-ray Disc (limited first pressing) and DVD releases.
