Eri has been very ill for some time now and while she has been drawing it is no where near the state her normal work is and so in a blog she has written that she plans to take a year off.

★08.07★ Long time no see everyone, Thank you to all the people that were concerned for me. I’ve pretty much recovered to the point where I can live normally now. Though I still have rely on my family for food or when going out. Once in a while I can manage to stay up for the entire day. I can even go out with my friends now. I am definitely recovering! But I think I’ll stop drawing for a year at the very least I’m doing simple jobs right now (such as checking) Please wait a little longer before I can make a return With any luck she'll be back before the year is up, but if not, wish her well! Psychological detective thriller; Liar Game by Shinobu Kaitani has been green lit for a second live action season and a theatrical film. Formally announced by Weekly Shonen Jump and Fuji TV, Erika Toda and Shota Matsuda will reprise their roles as protagonists Kanzaki Nao and Akiyama Shinichi, respectively. The premiere date for Liar Game Season 2 and opening date for the theatrical release have yet to be announced however, Fuji TV has launched a mobile only website (http://mobile.fujitv.co.jp/i/sr/liargame), called Liar Game Project (LGP) that features the manga, drama and film. Those who register can receive more information and be able to participate in a "game" related to the story.

Having premiered at Comic-Con International last Friday, Ellis emphasized that both teasers are test animation, "intended to show off the style of the piece only. Nothing in here reflects the actual content, just the design and the aesthetic and the animation".

Ellis also mentioned that both anime series are aimed at Southeast Asian market, as opposed to Japan as Marvel had told the audience at Comic-Con International.
