Comedian Masaki Sumitani (34), better known as the character Razor Ramon HG, will soon be returning to work after more than an 8-month absence due to injury. To start off, he has been cast as a regular on the new TBS variety show "Sekai Waraeru! Journal," which starts on April 21.

Last July, Sumitani fractured his left heel during a match of the wrestling promotion Hustle. About a week after the injury, he underwent a major surgery requiring the insertion of 12 metal pins into his foot. He was hospitalized for two months after that, then underwent a skin graft in January to restore the skin around the heel.

Since his injury, Sumitani has been in a wheelchair, causing him to lose some muscle and some weight. Unable to work, he said that his monthly income dropped to as low as 7,000 yen, but fortunately he was financially supported during that time by his wife, former idol Anna Suzuki (27).

Because Hustle shut down last October, Sumitani has effectively retired from pro wrestling. He will instead focus on his career as a comedian and actor, though he mentioned that he is aiming to become more than just his Hard Gay

Gag Manga Biyori's 4th Comedy TV Anime adaption was given the green lit as announced on the wraparound jacket band on the 10th volume of Kousuke Masuda's Gag Manga Biyori.

The third anime series based on the nonsensical gag comedy debuted last year and more details for the fourth anime series will be revealed in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine. The August issue will ship on Saturday.
