Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will confirm on Monday the proposed anime adapation of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's (previously of Death Note fame) Bakuman manga. The anime has been greenlit for the autumn of 2010 and will be run on the NHK-Educational (NHK-E) channel. Giving an insight to the behind the scenes production and development of manga, Bakuman follows middle school artist Moritaka Mashiro and aspiring writer Akito Takagi who wish to become mangakas.
