The 4th Annual Seiyū Awards will be accepting votes in
English and in
Japanese from October 1 to January 1. The Seiyū Awards were established as an annual award to honor voice actors and actress for their achievements in memorable voice acting performances and creative works.
The Overseas Fans Choice Award category was created last year in order to recognise more voice actors from a larger diversity of opinions. The first winner of this award was
Jun Fukuyama, voice actor for Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass.
Officially, only votes from foreign fans are accepted for this category, with the results determining the first round of candidates and the second round by the Seiyu Awards Selection Committee.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Tokyo Anime Center in the Akihabara otaku shopping district on March 6.
