K-ON! the television anime series has announced that production on a new extra episode has been given the green light. The new animation is based on kakiffy's original manga and will be included in the seventh volume of the Blu-ray Disc (limited first pressing) and DVD releases.
Online retailers are detailing that Pony Canyon will ship the seventh volume on Janugary 20th of the new year. (2010) Source: Anime News Network Article Comments
