Fushigi Yuugi - The Mysterious Play

The Suzaku no Miko and her Seishi When Miaka Yuuki opens a book entitled "The Universe Of The Four Gods," she is pulled through the book into a magical world similar to ancient China. This land is split up into four countries with each of them having an animal god. The land Miaka arrives in is called Konan, located in the south. Konan's animal god is called Suzaku, a phoenix. Miaka shortly discovers that she is to be the Suzaku no Miko, and that the only way for her to return is to locate her seven seishi with whose help she will be able to summon Suzaku who will grant her wishes. Meanwhile Miaka's friend Yui, worried about Miaka's whereabouts goes looking for her, and is also pulled into the book. She arrives in the land of Kutou Country in the east, protected by the animal god
Seiryuu. Yui becomes the Seiriyuu no Miko and begins the search for her own seven seishi in order to summon Seiriyuu. Miaka and Yui race against each other to find their respective seishi and return home.

The seishi of Suzaku are: Tamahome, Hotohori, Nuriko, Tasuki, Chichiri, Mitsukake and Chiriko

And the seishi of Seiriyuu are: Nakago, Suboshi, Amiboshi, Tomo, Soi, Ashitare and Miboshi
